     On November 19th 1977,it was six hundred years since Bran Castle was 
documentarily attested,a historic monument known within the international
tourism mostly owing to its pictoresque image associated with the places
where Dracula haunted,the title hero of a novel,created by the Irish
writer Bram Stoker,a century ago.


     Beyond the legend,augmented by the imagination of 
the sensation-seeking visitors,Bran Castle has fulfilled 
important historic functions throughout the centuries. 
     Assigned to be a history and art museum,40 years
ago,Bran Castle has got a distinctive place within the 
network of the Romanian museums
